Travelling to Australia

Travelling to Australia is an adventure – with beautiful beaches, mountains to climb, friendly locals and big cities to explore.

When many people think about Australia, they imagine kangaroos, wine and Crocodile Dundee, but there is much more to this warm, sunny climate on the south side.

Some things you might not have known about Australia…

  • Australia has the world’s largest population of wild camels with one hump.
  • No part of Australia is more than 1000 km from the ocean and a beach.
  • Melbourne has the second largest Greek population in the world, after Athens.
  • 90% of Australians live on the coast.
Our infographic offers more fun and interesting facts about things you might find when travelling Australia.
