5 Things To Do in Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The city has a long history and amazing landmarks. The location of Berlin contributes to its uniqueness so that suitable weather all over the year. It’s a great city for vacation and holidays. Here are some of Berlin attractions. 

1. Natural History Museum 

The Natural History Museum is the utopia of nature lovers. It’s huge and one of the biggest museums in Germany. It’s packed with a variety of fossil pieces. Believe it or not, they have a whole section just for dinosaurs. 

2. German History Museum 

We can’t talk about museums and forget The German History Museum. The museum was founded in 1987 on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of Berlin city. It contains exhibition halls, a huge library and cinema. The museum provides insight for 1500 years of the German history.

3. Tierpark Berlin 

Let’s put museums and extinct animals aside and enjoy and appreciate what we have right now. No other place is better than Tierpark Berlin to do that. It’s the largest animal park in Europe with variety of animals from all over the world. 

4. Berlin Wall Memorial 

One of Berlin wounds is Berlin Wall. It was a wall that separated east of Berlin from the west for 28 years. Fortunately, this wall does not exist anymore. However, you can live the experience by visiting The Berlin Wall Memorial for what remains from the wall. 

5. East Side Gallery 

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.

Like everything in life, there is always a bright side and in our case, it’s The East Side Gallery. After demolishing the Berlin Wall in 1990, 118 artists from 21 countries start painting what remains from the wall. It’s one of the longest if not the longest open-air gallery and consists of 105 paintings. 

Berlin is a huge city with many attraction sites. From museums to parks and galleries, every block in Berlin has its own story. However, like every city, you have to engage with the locals to get the full experience.
