今回の記事を書き進めるにあたって、わたしはまず、アート・ラバー（美術の愛好家）ってことから書き記すことから始めるわね。
実際、ここリバプールには驚くほどのアートで溢れているの。レストラン、ショップ、路上、そしてもちろん美術館から大学までよ。
アートは生活の細部までそれは自然にあって、わたしも時間が許す限り美術館やギャラリーには足繁く通ってます。
有難いことに、費用もあまりかからないのがここリバプールの良いところね。そして、世界中の著名なアーティストの作品展が開催されるのという利点もあるの。個人的には、現代アートや、クラッシックなアートも好き。都市のグラフィティーをみるのも好きだし、本当にクリエイティブな街にいられることに感動している。
先週、友人と私はWalker Art Gallery（“ウォーカー・アート・ギャラリー”）に出かけたのだけど、Alphonse Mucha氏が描いた絵画がとても品があって、心から感動したの。1900年代初期のアートは色合いも鮮やか。私は大好きよ！
ちょうどその前の週は私が働く語学学校、カプラン インターナショナル イングリッシュ・リバプール校でThe Pier Master’s Houseという美術館に行くショート・トリップを企画していたの。そこではリバプールの人が過去どのようにして暮らしていたのかがわかる展示になっていて、このショートトリップの後、生徒のみんなはこの展示から学んでくれたのかな？素晴らしいプレゼンを英語で披露してくれたの。旅行の企画も大成功ということかな？
さて、アートって、人と人をつなげ、そして人生に彩りを与えてくれる貴重なものだと私は感じてます。

Firstly, I would like to start by saying that I am an art lover. There are many places to visit here if you like art too. You can see art everywhere. In restaurants, in shops, on streets, in museums and at the Universities. Art is all around us. Liverpool has the most museums in the United Kingdom, after London. Naturally, I visit a lot of museums and galleries in my free time. This doesn’t cost much because most of the museums in Liverpool are free. There is always a new exhibition to see and many famous artist from all around the world showcase their work here. I love the freedom of modern art and I love the beauty of traditional art. I also enjoy looking at graffitti around the city centre. Being in a creative city is great.
Last week, my friends and I went to a fantastic exhibition in the Walker Art Gallery. We saw paintings and posters by Alphonse Mucha. His art work was absolutely beautiful and very elegant. We enjoyed our time at the museum and looked at the colourful collection from the early 1900’s. I loved it. The week before that, I arranged a trip for my students and I, we all went to a museum called The Pier Master’s House. We saw how the people of Liverpool used to live. After the trip, the students prepared the most amazing presentations in English. We all had a lot of fun and made some happy memories together.
Finally, I think that art brings people together, adds colour to our lives and helps us see everything in a new light. Art makes me happy and my favourite museums in Liverpool are Tate Modern, The Walker Art Gallery,The Bluecoat, The Lıverpool Musuem, The Museum of Liverpool; just to name a few.
