Prepare for CELTA
The Cambridge CELTA course (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is a practical English language teaching qualification that gives you the essential experience and the tools you need to qualify as a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL). With the CELTA qualification you’ll be ready to start working in ESL teaching environments around the world.
CELTA courses are created for those with little to no teaching experience, so there’s no need to worry if you’re new to teaching. You’ll develop practical skills for teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) to adult learners through lesson observations and hands-on teaching experience. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice what you’ve learned with projects, homework assignments and lesson planning, and you’ll receive guided feedback on your written and practical work.
Please note, this course is not accredited by the British Council.
